Unveiling Me

I speak in silence, 

my heart full of fire

a teenaged guy, 

my dreams inspire. 

Words do not escape my lips 

or my tongue, 

but I write with a passion

to defend my own. 

A voice for the voiceless, 

a hand for the weak, 

I advocate fiercely 

for the ones who like me, 

cannot speak. 

Every letter I type

breaks away at the wall

society has held up, 

living in fear it would fall. 

In silence, there is power

letters of my voice redefined, 

my words giving life to pages

arming minds with insight.
